37 Flights, 100 Launches, One Very Tired (Reusable) Booster
The mission launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in a four-hour window opening at 1:49 a.m. EDT on August 25, and it did double duty as a milestone machine: it was booster B1067's record-breaking 37th flight, and simultaneously the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. One rocket, two records, before most people had their coffee.
The bigger number here isn't the 37 — it's the 231. That's how many days it took SpaceX to hit 100 launches this year, roughly two months faster than it managed the same milestone in 2024. The company is now reportedly churning out a new Falcon 9 second stage every 2.5 days, which is the real bottleneck, since boosters get reused but upper stages are expended on every single flight.
